Versante Occidentale is an urban architectural project located in the center of Rome, in the Flaminio district.
The building, which serves as both a cohousing space and an urban center, is integrated into a natural slope, shaping and transforming its contour lines into architecture. The design logic focuses on the form of the slope and the concept of rebuilding nature, making the architecture a true act of mimesis.
The project originates from the study of the site’s contour lines.
The curve is not just a mark, but a strategy, a language, and a meaning.
It emerges from the place, interprets its complexities, and transforms into an architecture capable of welcoming, guiding, and transforming.
An architecture that does not impose itself, but accompanies.
That does not divide, but connects.
That is not static, but lives and evolves with the city.
